How I work…

As a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor, I have a toolbox of different methods I use in my professional practice, which helps me to find a way of working that best suits you as an individual. We would work collaboratively, and this approach supports you to gain greater self-awareness, understanding and insight, alongside learning coping strategies.

Sometimes on the counselling journey, things can feel like they get worse before they get better as you will likely talk about difficult experiences and feelings. I will aim to support you in sharing and exploring at a pace that feels safe and right for you.

My work is with adults, I am not qualified to work with children.

And more about me…

I am a Mum, and have spent time working in HR, Recruitment and Counselling, mostly areas where people and connection are important.

I am passionate about neurodiversity and learnt a lot about ADHD and Autism over the last few years.

I am a great fan of gardening, nature and art and try to spend time doing this when I have the opportunity.

Professional Conduct, Training, qualifications & experience

As a registered member of the BACP I will abide by their code of ethics and best practice, both during and after our therapeutic relationship.

I hold a diploma and advanced diploma in Integrative Counselling Studies from CPPD.

As well as having a small private practice, I have experience of working with various charities like Mind and did my training placements at the University of Cambridge Counselling service.
